Cherry Angiomas are small bright red bumps on the skin frequently found on the trunk. I usually joke that I can't find a single person over 30 that does not have at least one of these. They increase with age and particularly during pregnancy. They are completely benign and will never hurt you. They can be a little cosmetically distressing for some and can be easily and safely removed with a laser, which we offer at Cinco Ranch Dermatology. I've personally had about 100 of these annoying little bumps treated because it runs in my family. Treatment is considered cosmetic and is not covered by insurance, so we charge $200 dollars for removal of 1-15 spots (The price may be higher depending on how many cherry angiomas are being treated), which can usually be done quickly and efficiently at one visit.
